Cancellation and Booking Policy
As a modern concept stylist, I am dedicated to providing a professional and seamless experience for every client.
In response to the evolving demands of post-COVID schedules, I’ve implemented online booking only for appointment requests to ensure efficiency and convenience.
This system has completely streamlined scheduling — clients no longer need to worry about being “booked out for months” or losing their spot due to last-minute reschedules or cancellations. By keeping everything online and updated in real time, it’s now much easier to find an opening that fits your schedule. Online booking is live and available to you 24/7.
This transition also helps reduce missed appointments, last-minute cancellations, and excessive rescheduling, all of which have become more common in recent years.
With rising operational costs, online booking allows me to maintain the high-quality service you expect while accommodating today’s busy lifestyles.
Booking Requirements
- All appointments must be booked online.
- A card on file is required.
- A 50% deposit will be charged upfront.
- This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable and will be applied to your scheduled appointment.
- The service menu includes full descriptions with appropriate timing. Booking an incorrect service at a lower price point just to “secure an appointment” is strongly discouraged and may result in loss of deposit and the 100% same-day cancellation fee, as I may not be able to perform the service for multiple reasons including client disappointment and time constraint.
To prevent this, I offer multiple solutions including phone or in-person consultations. If you don’t know, please ask prior to booking — 251-308-5910.
100% Cancellation Fee Applies For:
- Same-day cancellations or no-shows
- Late arrivals (15 minutes or more)
- Bringing children to your appointment
- Please arrange childcare in advance. For several reasons — including respecting the calm experience of other guests — children should not accompany you to your appointment.
- Bringing pets to your appointment
- Due to multiple reasons, including Alabama State Board of Cosmetology regulations, pets are not allowed in the salon.

Ensure your contact information is up to date, as you’ll receive automated text and email reminders about your appointment. There may also be times I need to reach out directly regarding your service.
Service Pricing
- All pricing starts at base rates.
- Services that require more time or product due to long or extra thick hair will be charged accordingly. This will be discussed at the start of your appointment.
- Purchased hair for extensions is non-refundable. There are no exceptions to this policy.
Payments
- The balance is due on the day of your appointment.
- I accept all major cards and cash. No checks.
- Your receipt may show J Salon LLC — I am an independent business operating under this entity.
- All sales are final.
