I'm Jess, an independent stylist working at the beautiful Salt Hair Co. located in downtown Fairhope, AL. With 20 years of experience in the industry, I am dedicated to setting a high standard for an upscale, modern salon experience.

My journey into hairstyling was inspired by my own struggles with managing my thick, wavy, and frizzy hair. Growing up, I received little guidance from stylists, which left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied with my haircuts and colors. This personal experience drove me to become a stylist who not only excels in the craft but also provides valuable advice and support to clients with similar hair challenges.

I believe that a great stylist possesses two key qualities: a passion for the craft and a commitment to continuous education. Our industry is constantly evolving, and staying updated with the latest techniques and trends is essential. I am dedicated to furthering my education to enhance the services I offer, ensuring that my clients benefit from advanced hair design.

My specialties include color, color correction, lived-in blonding, grey blending and modern hair design. I am certified in Brazilian Blowout treatments and hold a master certification with Bellami Professional. This certification guarantees that I apply extensions properly to prevent damage and customize them to meet each client's unique needs.

At Salt Hair Co., I strive to provide an elevated and fully customizable salon experience. I use an organic backbar, Loma, for clients with sensitivities, and a gentle color line, Kevin Murphy, for those with chemical sensitivities.
